Get Started

Once you have created a base, the best way to learn the ropes is to follow our Get Started tour.

You may have already used Outerbase to explore your data and now you're ready to discover what you can build with it. Using this SDK you can expedite your development efforts by utilizing a lot of what the platform provides.

A pre-requisite to many of the missions you will set out to accomplish will require you to have at least one database connected to Outerbase. Many of the core components of what is offered uses the platforms API to succeed in its task such as database introspection generating Typescript models. You can read more about connecting a data source which should get you ready to continue on your journey.

At our core we aim for this SDK to be a tool for developers to quickly build their projects by offloading the creation of critical tasks such as:

  • Data modeling

  • Database interactions

  • Edge-cached queries

  • Network interactions

In each of the sections of the documentation we will go more granular in each of the features, what they do, how they work at their core, and what it takes for you to implement into your own project.
